As anticipated, a follow-up to this year’s horror film featuring Winnie the Pooh is currently in the works. The sequel, titled Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, is already being produced.
Earlier today, The Hollywood Reporter disclosed the initial visuals from the upcoming sequel of Blood and Honey. The images provide a sneak peek of the reappearance of the deadly version of Pooh. Included in the upcoming sequel will be the familiar characters of Christopher Robin, Piglet, and Owl.
According to THR, the sequel is currently in production, and it has been given a larger budget, more fatalities, and even a performer who has won an Olivier Award and earned a BAFTA nomination, Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral), who has been added to the cast. Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the writer and director, announced that the sequel will be “bigger and badder.”
“The sequel will showcase new designs for creatures, a new cast, and a higher body count. In this installment, however, Pooh and his friends will be departing the 100 Acre Wood in order to confront the peaceful community of Ashdown.”
In the upcoming sequel Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, the cast includes a talented group of actors. Among them are Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers, who played Doctor Jekyll, as Christopher Robin, Ryan Olivia, who starred in Seasoning House, as Winnie-the-Pooh, and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, known for his role in The Pope’s Exorcist, as Young Pooh.
The screenwriter for the follow-up to the horror movie, Summer of 84, was penned by Matt Leslie.
