Join ON SET CINEMA at the infamous Overlook Hotel on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 for a very special screening of “THE SHINING”! They be showing the film at the National Historic Timberline Lodge …aka The Overlook in beautiful Mount Hood, Oregon. The Timberline Lodge sits high on the shoulder of one of the most iconic mountain peaks in the Pacific Northwest and served as the actual filming location for the establishing exterior shots of the infamous Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick’s cinematic adaptation of Stephen King’s terrifying novel, The Shining!
This is a rare public screening of the movie at Timberline and seating is limited. Fans will have access to the hotel grounds for the entire day, as well as the interior of the lodge (Cascade dining room, Ram’s Head Bar & Restaurant, Wy’East Café, history exhibit, gift shops, game room & more). There will be a special themed bar for attendees, fun photo ops, raffles/giveaways and more!
They highly recommend staying overnight at the lodge to get the full experience – On Set Cinema ticket holders will receive a special discount code in their confirmation email for Sunday night lodging and it’s massive! Just to give you an idea of the Sunday night discount:
• Sunday night “Queen” standard rate: $330 / On Set Cinema rate: $183.75 ($146.25 OFF – almost completely pays for 2 On Set Cinema tickets!)
• Sunday night “Queen Twin” standard rate: $360 / On Set Cinema rate: $210 ($150 OFF – pays for 2 On Set Cinema tickets!)
…the list goes on. So again, they highly suggest staying all night – it will basically pay for your OSC ticket.
