In the upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the entire world becomes a stage for the unfolding events.
Audiences can expect to see the return of the Joker to the big screen when the highly anticipated sequel arrives in theaters on October 4, 2024.
“Joker: Folie à Deux” has received an “R” rating due to its content. The film contains instances of intense violence, frequent use of strong language, some sexual content, and a brief scene with full nudity.
Returning in full Joker makeup, Joaquin Phoenix is set to be accompanied by none other than Lady Gaga, who will be taking on the role of Harley Quinn for this upcoming installment.
Returning to her role as Sophie Dumond from “Joker,” Zazie Beetz will once again grace the screen. Joining her in the cast are Brendan Gleeson, known for his work in “Mr. Mercedes,” and Catherine Keener, who has impressed audiences in “Get Out” and “Brand New Cherry Flavor.”
The Sequel was co-written by Todd Phillips and Scott Silver.
