In “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” the Big Apple becomes the site of a zombie apocalypse. This week, AMC released an official teaser trailer for the series.
AMC disclosed the premiere of its newest spinoff series, “Dead City,” on June 18 at 10 pm ET on both AMC and AMC+. The following episodes will air on Sundays at 9 pm ET.
“Walking Dead: Dead City sees Maggie and Negan traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.”
Scheduled to air after the original series’ conclusion, the six-episode spinoff is set two years later. Eli Jorné, known for his work on “The Walking Dead,” will be at the helm as the showrunner for “The Walking Dead: Dead City.”
