Elizabeth Hurley, who rose to fame as an Austin Powers girl, will be facing off against a fictional antagonist in “Piper,” a fresh horror flick that draws inspiration from Robert Browning’s children’s classic, “The Pied Piper of Hamelin.
The director of the film is none other than Anthony Waller. Fans of the classic horror film, American Werewolf in London (1982), may recognize his name from the sequel, An American Werewolf in Paris (1997).
The movie Piper is scheduled to have its world premiere screening at FrightFest in the United Kingdom on August 27th.
Starring in this production are Mia Jenkins, known for her role as Hanna, Jack Stewart from Outlander, Tara Fitzgerald who starred in Brassed Off, and Robert Daws who appeared in The Man Who Fell to Earth.
The American release date for the item has not yet been established. This is likely due to the fact that international distribution executives must first evaluate it before beginning to place bids.
