Warner Bros. Discovery has recently announced that the expansion of The Conjuring Universe is not just limited to the big screen. The company is reportedly working on a television series for the Max streaming service.
This afternoon, Deadline shared news that Peter Safran is in the process of developing a drama series for Warner Bros. Television, inspired by New Line Cinema’s film franchise.
The upcoming series will “build upon the established narrative of the movies.”
The inaugural foray of the franchise into television will be produced by James Wan’s Atomic Monster Productions and Peter Safran’s The Safran Company in coordination with WBTV.
Presently, the spine-chilling world of The Conjuring comprises seven terrifying titles. We can anticipate the arrival of the eighth installment, The Nun 2, scheduled to be released later this year.
