[Teaser] Eli Roth is Back With ‘Thanksgiving’

After more than a decade since its initial promotion as a fabricated trailer in the Grindhouse Double Feature (2007) event, Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving has at last materialized as an authentic film.

The much-anticipated horror film, Thanksgiving, directed by Eli Roth, is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2023.

As previously announced, the official teaser trailer for the movie, once thought to be a joke, was released online earlier today. The actual preview for the legitimate film abandons the Grindhouse-inspired visual style of its counterfeit counterpart. Nevertheless, viewers will still identify many of the same visuals from the original trailer. For instance, the sequence with the cheerleader jumping on the trampoline successfully made it into the final cut of the authentic movie.

TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group (Scream) are set to release the film worldwide, which is an extension of Roth’s mock trailer that was featured in Grindhouse (2007).
