Sony is releasing their much-anticipated Kraven the Hunter film just in time for Halloween this year.
Recently, the official trailer for this Marvel universe movie was released by Sony, with a ‘R’ rating. View the official RED BAND trailer for the Kraven the Hunter film below, which offers a level of brutality that is certain to warrant the movie’s “R” rating.
In the official trailer, Kraven’s origin story is revealed while giving the viewer a glimpse of several violent scenes. Additionally, the trailer hints at the presence of Kraven’s archenemy, The Rhino, in the film.
Kraven the Hunter will be released by Sony’s Columbia Pictures on October 6, 2023. The character of Calypso in the forthcoming film adaptation of Kraven the Hunter will be portrayed by none other than Ariana DeBose.
The character of The Foreigner in the upcoming film will be portrayed by Christopher Abbott, known for his role in Possessor, while Levi Miller, who starred in Better Watch Out, will also join the cast. Alessandro Nivola, who is set to appear in The Many Saints of Newark, will play an additional antagonist, although further information about his character remains undisclosed. Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger are also part of the cast.
J. C. Chander directs the film with a screenplay written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk.
