Pedro Pascal Joins ‘Weapons’: A New Horrific Journey for the Acclaimed Star

In an exciting development, Pedro Pascal, known for his role in ‘The Last of Us,’ has secured his next major film project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sought-after actor will be starring in ‘Weapons,’ a thrilling cinematic endeavor crafted by the creative minds behind ‘Barbarian.’

Although plot details and Pascal’s character specifics are being closely guarded, sources indicate that ‘Weapons’ will be an interconnected, multistory horror epic, reminiscent of the acclaimed 1999 film ‘Magnolia.’

While Pascal has yet to publicly comment on the upcoming venture, his participation in a horror movie marks a notable departure from his recent roles. Prior to his breakthrough portrayal of Joel in HBO’s adaptation of ‘The Last of Us,’ Pascal garnered recognition for his performances in renowned productions such as ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle,’ ‘Narcos,’ ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ and his leading role in the widely popular Disney+ series ‘The Mandalorian.’

Production for ‘Weapons’ is slated to commence this autumn, further intensifying Pascal’s already jam-packed year. Just recently, news broke that he would also feature in ‘Gladiator 2,’ alongside an impressive ensemble cast comprising Connie Nielsen, Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Barry Keoghan, and Joseph Quinn.

As if these projects weren’t enough, Pascal has also confirmed his involvement alongside Matt Damon in the uproarious comedy film ‘Drive-Away Dolls.’

Despite having numerous projects in the pipeline, Pascal revealed in a recent interview with Esquire that he remains uncertain about his future endeavors, keeping fans eagerly anticipating what surprises lie ahead for the versatile and talented actor.
