The movie that is set to be released soon is based on the novel penned by Alexis Laipsker.
The Soul Eater is a harrowing tale that takes place in a mountain village. The story unfurls against the backdrop of an old legend about a malevolent creature that has resurfaced following the disappearance of several local children. Additionally, a string of violent and gruesome deaths has further unsettled the community.
The cast of the film includes Virginie Ledoyen, who has starred in notable films such as Rabid Dogs and The Beach. Additionally, the film features Paul Hamy, who previously appeared in the movie Get In, and Sandrine Bonnaire, who also has a prominent role in the production.
For their latest project, the directors have once again joined forces with Simon Roca, who previously served as cinematographer for their film Kandisha. Phase 4 Productions and Place du Marché Productions are the creators of The Soul Eater.
The film is slated for release in France in theaters, but there is currently no information regarding a release date in the United States. Keep an eye out for updates.
