Marvel’s upcoming Blade revival has undergone several release date changes, including being previously scheduled for 2024. Today, a new release date has been announced.
Initially scheduled to premiere on Valentine’s Day in 2025, Blade will now grace the screens of movie theaters on November 7 of the same year. This upcoming film marks the first appearance of the iconic Marvel Comics vampire hunter since the release of Blade: Trinity in 2004.
Blade’s theatrical revival in 2025 will be helmed by Yann Demange, known for his work on “Lovecraft Country.”
The cast will feature Mahershala Ali in the lead role and Mia Goth, who starred in “X” and “Pearl. Demange has stated that the forthcoming film will undoubtedly receive an “R” rating.
The latest version of the screenplay was penned by Michael Starrbury, who is best known for his work on “When They See Us.”
Recently, it has been reported that Nic Pizzolatto, the mastermind behind the critically acclaimed series “True Detective,” has taken up the task of revising the script.
