Momentum Pictures picks up rights for Blumhouse’s ‘Dashcam’ horror with a new trailer

The film Dashcam is being produced by the megastar, Jason Blum. The film previously had its premiere at 2021 TIFF which stands for Toronto International Film Festival, of course. It was met with a lukewarm response by fans and critics who have seen it so far having a 53% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.8/10 on IMDB.

Dashcam has the following synopsis:

At the start of the pandemic, an indulgent and self-deluded livestreaming improv musician abandons L.A. for London, steals her ex-bandmates car, and makes the wrong decision to give a ride to an elderly woman who is not what she seems.

The film is being directed by Rob Savage, who did the terrific and terrifying Host, so I am interested in seeing his follow-up.

Watch the trailer now:

Dashcam will be released on VOD platforms on June, 3rd, 2022.
