Blumhouse Reveals Final ‘Insidious: The Red Door’ Trailer

Blumhouse has unveiled the final trailer and poster for “Insidious: The Red Door,” the anticipated conclusion to the popular horror franchise. The fifth installment, hitting cinemas on July 7, revisits the Lambert family’s chilling narrative last encountered in “Insidious: Chapter 2” in 2013.

This chapter marks the directorial debut of lead star Patrick Wilson, and takes place a decade after the previous movie, focusing on Dalton’s college years and his growing astral projection abilities. Patrick Wilson and Ty Simpkins will reprise their roles as Josh and Dalton, with the screenplay penned by Scott Teems, based on a narrative from Leigh Whannell and Jason Blum. This is the first time Whannell isn’t the writer for an “Insidious” film.

The series, which commenced with 2011’s “Insidious” directed by James Wan, has been a substantial success, garnering praise and nearly $100 million in box office earnings, propelling Blumhouse Productions to its current prominent position.
