Announced at the most recent Playstation event, the 2015 video game ‘Until Dawn’ is getting a remastered version coming to Playstation 5 and PC sometime this year.
This news comes shortly after the announcement of a film adaptation of the game entering early stages of production. The film will be directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation) and will be written by Gary Dauberman (It: Chapter 2, The Nun) and Blair Butler (The Invitation). No news on casting yet but fans are crossing their fingers the video game’s original cast will portray their respective characters on the big screen.
Until Dawn has been rebuilt with the latest tools and techniques. New and improved animations build on the success of the original character performances. Characters, environments and VFX have been upgraded – all for a truly enhanced cinematic horror experience.
