The third-person action-adventure game, The Walking Dead: Destinies, will be released on November 17th for various platforms including PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
GameMill Entertainment and AMC have teamed up to create a narrative-driven game that promises to be thrilling and captivating. A new gameplay trailer has been released, offering a sneak peek at some of the game’s action sequences and pivotal moments that players will experience. When Destinies was initially announced in August, it was revealed that the game would follow the multiple-choice gameplay style of Telltale’s The Walking Dead.
In this game, you take on the role of Rick Grimes, and have the power to create your own unique path through the events of the show. The game begins with Rick awakening alone in a hospital full of the undead, and from there, you must gather allies from a cast of over 12 characters from the series. Together, you must fight your way through the walker apocalypse while traversing iconic locations from The Walking Dead.At pivotal crossroads, the fate of your team of characters from the series rests in your hands. The living and the dead, the good and the evil – the power is yours to determine whether to follow the course of history or to carve out a new path. As you make your way towards your goal, you will engage in intense third-person combat with a range of weapons, both close-range and long-range, such as bats, katanas, revolvers, shotguns, and crossbows, all while fighting off hordes of walkers.
One of the primary concerns when playing this game is resource management, as they are limited. It is also necessary to scavenge for weapons and ammunition, while simultaneously maximizing the capabilities of your team to ensure their survival. This includes defending your camp, rescuing other survivors, and engaging in both stealth and full-blown combat situations.
