Tony Todd Will Return in ‘Final Destination 6’

According to insider information obtained by Bloody Disgusting, Tony Todd has officially agreed to reprise his role as William Bludworth in the highly anticipated sixth edition of the Final Destination series.

The mortician in Final Destination, Final Destination 2, and Final Destination 5 was portrayed by the iconic figure of horror. This character was noted for being enigmatic and inscrutable.

According to reports, the focus of the plot revolves around the experiences of emergency responders. Additionally, the movie delves deeply into the history of Bludworth, including a flashback to his early years which sheds light on his relationship with death.

Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the franchise, may have been alluding to this development in his recent remarks about Final Destination 6. He mentioned that the upcoming installment will reveal an unexplored layer in the story.

After the resolution of the SAG-AFTRA strike, filming is scheduled to commence in Vancouver. Directing the production will be Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, known for their work on “Freaks,” while the script will be penned by Guy Busick, who has written for the horror franchise “Scream” as well as its sixth installment, along with Lori Evans Taylor, known for her work on “Bed Rest.”

The producer of the film is Jon Watts, who is also a filmmaker. After a ten-year hiatus, the sixth installment of this popular franchise is finally ready for release.
