Disney+ has announced a new series featuring R.L. Stine’s iconic Goosebumps stories, set to return to television screens.
The Wrap has provided a sneak peek of the upcoming show in their Fall 2023 Preview article, showcasing an initial image. The Wrap reports that the release date for “Goosebumps” has been scheduled for October 2023.
Starring in the upcoming live-action series is a cast of talented actors, including Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris, and Isa Briones.
The series is a unique blend of teen comedy and horror, promising to deliver both chills and laughs. The individual responsible for directing the popular 2015 film adaptation of the book series Goosebumps, Rob Letterman, has been chosen as the director for the inaugural episode of the upcoming Disney+ series. Letterman has also been selected to serve as both the writer and executive producer for the episode.
The upcoming television series of Goosebumps will have Nick Stoller onboard as both the writer and the executive producer.
