The Highly Anticipated Movie Adaptation of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is Confirmed to Hit Theaters This Halloween

Get ready for a thrilling cinematic experience as Universal Pictures gears up to release Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s in theaters on October 27, 2023. To add more excitement, the movie will also launch on Peacock on the same day as it hits theaters!

The plot:

Emma Tammi, the acclaimed director of “The Wind” and “Blood Moon,” helms “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback join her in writing duties for the nail-biting horror film.

The talented cast of the movie includes Josh Hutcherson (known for Ultraman and The Hunger Games), Elizabeth Lail (star of You and Mack & Rita), Matthew Lillard (famous for Good Girls and Scream), Kat Conner Sterling (featured in We Have A Ghost and 9-1-1), Piper Rubio (known for Holly & Ivy and Unstable), and Mary Stuart Masterson (featured in Blindspot and Fried Green Tomatoes).

The responsibility of designing and operating the legendary monster animatronics lies with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” screenplay was jointly written by Tammi, Scott Cawthon, and Seth Cuddeback. Blumhouse and Striker Entertainment are co-producing the movie, with Scott Cawthon and Jason Blum serving as producers. Additionally, Russell Binder will be an executive producer.

In the spine-chilling video game series “Five Nights at Freddy’s”, the mission is to survive the perils posed by animatronic characters in the titular pizzeria for five consecutive nights.
