The sequel to 2019’s ‘Joker’ has wrapped filming, announced by director Todd Phillips in an Instagram post.
“That’s a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together.” said Phillips in his Instagram post caption.
Joker: Folie à Deux is an upcoming American musical psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. Based on DC Comics characters, the film is the sequel to Joker and stars Joaquin Phoenix, reprising his role as the Joker, and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. (Synopsis courtesy of Wikipedia).
Several videos and set photos have surfaced online from fans, including Lady Gaga dancing on the iconic “Joker Stairs” from the first film and a look at her character’s appearance pre-clowning.
