In this latest venture, he takes on the iconic role of Dracula, captivating audiences once again with his portrayal.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter, a script penned by the esteemed writer Bragi Schut, has been circulating within the industry for an extensive period. Over the years, numerous directors have expressed interest and been associated with the project at different stages. However, it was the accomplished director André Øvredal, known for his work on films such as The Autopsy of Jane Doe and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, who ultimately took the helm. This announcement was made in 2021, solidifying Øvredal as the chosen director for the upcoming Amblin Partners production.
Corey Hawkins, known for his roles in “Kong: Skull Island” and “The Walking Dead,” takes on a lead role in the upcoming film “The Last Voyage of the Demeter.” The screenplay for this film has been penned by Zak Olkewicz, who is also credited for his work on the film “Bullet Train.
Among the ensemble, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham, David Dastmalchian, Jon Jon Briones, Stefan Kapicic, and Nikolai Nikolaeff are also featured. Additionally, the role of Dracula is portrayed by Javier Botet.
